Generally speaking the public perceives lawyers as greedy and uncaring, but in fact the opposite is often true.  The stories we often see in the news are a result of carefully crafted press releases.  These are not actually stories, but really a form of organized gossip.  The truth is often twisted quite a bit to suit the needs of big business, insurance companies, politicians, and just about any special group including lawyers associations.  The more money the organization has the more it can do to persuade the people to think about certain things in a certain way.  When it comes to lawyers, it is usually to get the public to perceive lawyers in a negative way.  What would this have to do with Disneyland, well Disneyland has been very successful in promoting itself as the happiest place on earth.  Which depending on who you are may or may not be true, but regardless of what you think of  Disneyland they have an attraction which is probably illegal to the extent that it violates an individual’s rights.  There is an attraction where you wait in line for about 30 minutes maybe 45 minutes and then you enter.  It is a standing room only entrance where you expect to see all the cool stuff that is to come.  The building is spinning at about 1 mile per hour.  You hop on, a door slides open the public enters.  Inside there is a robot talking.  Then a live person comes on and starts talking about the home of tomorrow, then it turns into a damn commercial !  That is right, a damn commercial !  You stand around looking for an escape and apparently there is no way out.  You look around and there is no indication that you can escape !  This is the kind of stuff of wich a 60 minutes story is made from.  Did Disneyland give it much thought ?  It is rather offensive to take a chunk of people’s lives without any forwarning of any kind.  Ten minutes of tens of thousands of people’s lives for ever lost.   Sooner or later there along will come a law firm or a lawyer that will file a class action lawsuit for false imprisonment and fraud.  You may hefty fees to enter this park and the last thing you expect is for a freaking commercial.  Lawyers and law firms file these type of lawsuits, because of bad business practices such as this one.
